Dr. Kailing is a Research Assistant Professor at the Shanghai International School of Chief
Technology Officer and the Asia-Europe Business School, East China Normal University.
She received her Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Arkansas
and previously served as an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at the
University of Tulsa. Her primary research interests include enterprise IT management and
its economic impact, digital strategy and innovation management, IT and social platform
management, as well as healthcare information technology. Her work has been published
in international journals such as Journal of Economics and Business, Asian Review of
Accounting, ORE of Business and Management, and Information Systems Frontiers.
She has also presented her research at leading international conferences including the
International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the Production and Operations
Management Society Annual Conference (POMS), the Decision Sciences Institute Annual
Conference (DSI), the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), and the Institute
for Operations Research and the Management Sciences Annual Meeting (INFORMS).
