Dr. DU is a professor of faculty of Economics and management, East China Normal University. He received his Ph.D. degree from Department of Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He was a research fellow in National University of Singapore (from June 2011 to March 2013). He is also an anonymous reviewer of top international journals such EJOR, IJPE, IJPR, CIE, etc.

His research interests focus on but not limited to logistics network design, production and service system modeling, simulation and optimization, big-data and artificial intelligence for business analysis.

He was awarded the 5th and 9th “National 100 Top management cases in China”. In addition, he is the program director of research funds supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Humanities and Social Science project of Ministry of Education of China, Shanghai Pu Jiang project, and other Business Cooperation projects. Especially, he has published a series of academic papers on top international journals, obtained one computer software copyright in China, and has published two academic monographs.
