Chongyan is Assistant Professor at the Shanghai International School of Chief Technology
Officer and Asia Europe Business School. He is also Mingyuan Chenhui Scholar. He obtained
Ph.D. in Marketing from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Master of Economics from TheUniversity of Hong Kong, Bachelor of Science from Fudan University and Bachelor of
Engineering from the University of Birmingham. His research interests include online
platforms and two-sided markets, causal inference and field experiments, applications of
machine learning and artificial intelligence in marketing, and sustainability. His research
has been published in the Conference on Language Modeling and Cell Reports Sustainability,
and he has presented at international academic conferences including the ISMS Marketing
Science Conference, CIST, and APACR.
