Jingling is an Assistant Professor at the Shanghai International school of Chief Technology Officer and a Ming Yuan Chen Hui Scholar. She received her PhD and MPhil in Marketing from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (with Honors) from Xiamen University. Her research focuses on visual marketing design, employing eye-tracking techniques to examine how consumers allocate visual attention in contexts such as package design and website interfaces, and developing deep learning frameworks to optimize visual design. She also studies social media influencer marketing and aging consumers. Methodologically, she integrates experimental design, Bayesian statistics, econometrics, and deep learning. Her work has been published in the European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV) and presented at international conferences including the ISMS Marketing Science Conference and the Marketing Dynamics Conference.
