The delegation from National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russia) visited Asia Europe Business School to discuss the establishment of international cooperation and exchange ideas

On October 25th, Ivan Prostakov, Deputy Director of the Business School at HSE University in Russia, visited East China Normal University. Under the auspices of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, He Jiaxun, the Chinese Dean of the Asia Europe Business School, received the other party and the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on carrying out international visiting cooperation projects. Ivan Prostakov introduced the disciplines and majors of HSE Business School and eagerly looks forward to establishing a cooperative relationship with our school's Asia Europe Business School. As an international business school that adopts all English teaching, He Jiaxun introduced the positioning of Asia Europe Business School as a "technology business school" and changed the development overview of traditional business and management education. As of September 2024, the college's students come from 76 countries across six continents, with international students accounting for 64% of the total student population. This has established a solid foundation for international cooperation with top business schools around the world. He pointed out that both sides can gradually develop and deepen their cooperative relationship through international visits, exchange programs, academic exchanges, and other means. 



On October 30th, the visiting delegation visited the Asia Europe Business School. Wang Hua, Dean ofAsia Europe Business School, Wu Xiaobo, Director of the Comprehensive Office, Sanochkina Daria, Director of the Student Mobility Office at the Russian State Research Higher Economic University, Nicheukhina Kseniia, Director of the International Education Center, and Veselova Liudmila, Associate Professor of Management, attended the meeting to have in-depth communication and exchanges on future cooperation and joint construction topics between the two sides. Chen Wenting, the foreign affairs secretary of Asia Europe Business School, Fu Luyao, the student counselor, and Cai Qi, the Alumni affairs officer, attended the conference together.







Wang Hua first welcomed the visiting delegation. He stated that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, and that China and Russia are like-minded partners; As a commercial hub in China, Asia, and even the world, Shanghai has a superior geographical location. In the face of the current complex international situation, we need to approach it with an open, inclusive, and cooperative mindset. This is an important background significance for the cooperation between Asia Europe Business School and HSE University.




Sanochkina Daria introduced the development history, characteristic disciplines, educational programs, student activities, and supporting facilities of HSE University.




Veselova Liudmila provides a supplementary introduction on the academic development of HSE University, particularly in the field of management discipline construction.   Graduates will be able to apply advanced management practices to find creative solutions for new business models in a globalized world. This coincides with the teaching philosophy of Asia Europe Business School, providing a background opportunity and spirit of cooperation between the two sides.


Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth discussions on international academic visits, academic exchanges, short-term exchanges, summer schools, and potential future cooperation topics. Both sides expressed their expectation to deepen cooperation, promote academic and cultural exchanges between China and Russia, and jointly cultivate technology driven management talents with a global perspective, cross-border work capabilities, and social responsibility in the new era of artificial intelligence.
