About Asia Europe Business School
Co-founded by East China Normal University and emlyon business school, located in Shanghai, the most vibrant international metropolis, Asia Europe Business School (AEBS) is the unique business school that crafts cross-disciplinary talents. AEBS has the ambition to build the future global business leaders and ambassadors of the Belt and Road, combining Eastern and Western wisdom, best management practices, and a high level of social responsibility.
Developed to train global entrepreneurs and business leaders, AEBS will combine the excellence of East China Normal University in the humanities and social sciences with emlyon business school’s excellence in entrepreneurial management and innovation. Program Philosophy and Objectives
To provide necessary support for the “Belt and Road” initiative, AEBS has set up a Double Degree Program in International Business (Global Management and China Studies) for master candidates, exclusively for international students.
This program’s vision is to “shape business elites and promote Chinese culture”. Its mission is to develop foreign talents in economics and management for the “Belt and Road” initiative, and to spread Chinese culture. By integrating high quality education resources from China and France, the program offers comprehensive, international and innovative theoretical and practical training. It will help develop high-level and all-around talents with global vision, proficiency in Chinese culture, solid theoretical foundation and rich professional knowledge, who can support business operations and management in countries along the “Belt and Road”.
In order to realize the policy intercommunication, facility connectivity, trade smoothness and capital finance of the countries along the “Belt and Road”, this program will train business management professionals with high-level, composite and application-oriented enterprises capable of engaging in international business management and management in countries along the “Belt and Road”. To enable them to do business in China independently, to do business with China on behalf of the “Belt and Road” countries, or to do business with the countries along the “Belt and Road” on behalf of China.

AEBS’s Career Development Center (CDC) provides personalized consulting and placement assistance, powered by its strong relationship with local and multinational companies, and through its powerful alumni network. Highly valuable service includes: career mentors, career coaching, career consulting day, company visits, summer internship programs, employer presentations, job postings.
*Chinese language skills are not required for enrollment, but applicant with HSK 3 certificate would be under priority consideration in admission process.
REMINDER：HSK3 certificate is a precondition for receiving the ECNU Master degree.
**Interviews will be arranged once a month from January; early application is encouraged because the number of program participants is limited.
***ECNU single degree (English-taught) is available since 2021 intake.

Entry Requirements
🔺 Academic: Bachelor's Degree or above with transcripts (no major restrictions)
🔺 English*: IELTS 6.5 / TOFEL iBT minimum 90 score or equivalent
🔺 Others: A face-to-face or Skype interview is required
* Native English Speakers and English-Taught Bachelor Degree graduates may exempted from the English language certificate.
** GMAT or GRE score is required for double degree option.
