Event Review | The (22nd) Enterprise Exploration Activity-Exploring Bayer(China)

Since 2018, Asia Europe Business School has launched a series of enterprise exploration activities. The activities aim to lead students to visit and explore well-known enterprises in various industries, which combine with Chinese industrial practice, and innovate the advanced brand management knowledge system from the perspective of " Brand Strategy in Enterprise-Level ", to cultivate and deliver leadership management talents with a global vision, cross-cultural working ability, and social responsibility. On November 29, AEBS held the 22nd series of enterprise exploration activities, which explored Bayer (China) Limited achievements in employer branding, campus recruitment, and business strategy.


BAYER is a life science company, one of the world's leading Fortune 500 companies. It is a global enterprise with core competencies in the Life Science fields of health care and agriculture. Headquartered in Leverkusen, Germany, the company has more than 10,000 kinds of products and is one of the largest industrial group in Germany. Founded in 1863, the Bayer Group is known for its innovation and development in the life science fields, especially in cardiology, oncology, gynecology, hematology, ophthalmology, etc. The company's three business segments (divisions) are Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Health, and Crop Science.



The students first visited the Qiantan office of Bayer(China). Through a series of documentary presentations,  a general review  of Bayer's corporate history, corporate structure, brand advantages and technological innovation were represented to the visitors. Bayer's development goal is to create value for customers, shareholders, and employees while enhancing the company's profitability. The company adheres to a sustainable development model while effectively shouldering social responsibilities. Employees full of innovative passion will have better development opportunities in Bayer. These together form Bayer's corporate mission. In Bayer's data presentation, students were impressed by its emphasis on corporate responsibility and social responsibility.


Subsequently, the students had a face-to-face Q&A interaction with the senior executives of Bayer. Bayer (Asia Pacific) Senior Advisor Karen and Bayer (China) Senior Recruitment Expert Stefan provided students with a detailed introduction and policy explanation on Bayer's business consulting and campus recruitment. Through Q&A and interaction, the students further understood Bayer's operational philosophy and recruitment principles, and also gained a deeper understanding of future career development plans.

After the visit, students took a group photo with the staff, and those who participated in the interaction also received souvenirs from Bayer. Through this visit, the students not only gained an understanding of Bayer's brilliant achievements and development plans, but also broadened their horizons, laying a solid foundation for their future career development. At this point, the enterprise visiting has come to a successful end.
