Event Review | Girl Power: Her Stories, Her Voice

Time:2026-03-13设置

On the afternoon of March 6, faculty and students of Asia Europe Business School gathered on the first floor of Zizhu Building A1, taking a break from their busy routines. Bathed in warm spring sunshine, the carefully arranged venue and exquisite refreshments and desserts welcomed all attendees. The event, held in celebration of International Women’s Day, officially kicked off.

Crafting Beauty

 at Fingertips

The afternoon began with a preserved flower DIY session. Seated around the tables, every participant became a messenger of spring, weaving unique and heartwarming spring memories. With roses, hydrangeas, billy balls and other blooms in hand, they focused on arranging the flowers with care. Gentle conversations blended with the delicate fragrance of preserved flowers, as these vibrant creations were placed into transparent glass domes, becoming timeless and precious memories.

Resonance

Through Film

As the fragrance lingered, the lights dimmed and the screening of The Help started. The film unfolded the story of a small town in the American South during the 1960s. Black domestic workers labored diligently day in and day out, yet were forced to remain silent under the roofs of white employers. A young white woman made up her mind to write down their stories. Through the reel, the struggles and mutual support of women under an unjust system were vividly portrayed. We witnessed their perseverance and saw our own reflections in their journey.

Looking Ahead

with Hope

As the closing credits rolled, the event came to a successful conclusion. Faculty and students took group photos to capture this wonderful moment. This afternoon, we crafted our own spring with handmade creations and connected with inner stories through film. Thank you to everyone who joined us—your presence has filled this afternoon with warmth and the power of voice.
