Time:2026-01-21设置

Dear Students,

The long-awaited winter break has finally arrived! As the gentle winter sun shines upon our campus, we step away from the classrooms and enter a period filled with heartwarming reunions and meaningful personal growth.

To ensure every student of the AEBS enjoys a safe, fulfilling, and joyful holiday, we have carefully prepared a Winter Break Safety and Wellness Guide, covering six key areas: dorm safety, travel safety, food hygiene, mental health, cybersecurity, and anti-fraud awareness. May this guide serve as a beam of warm light, accompanying you through each cozy and well-planned day.

Important Notice:

Registration for Next Semester

Registration for the upcoming semester will be on: March 1st, 2026. Please plan your holiday schedule accordingly and ensure a timely return to campus to start the new term.

Below are the detailed tips for your reference:

1

 Dorm Safety

Before leaving, please bring personal documents, valuables, and perishable items with you, and lock your storage cabinets.

Before leaving the dormitory/apartment, carefully check that all windows and doors are closed and securely locked when the last person leaves. Pay special attention to turning off all power switches and unplugging electrical cords.

The use of high-power electrical appliances in dormitories is strictly prohibited to prevent fires caused by circuit overloads. Do not charge electric vehicles in dormitories or hallways, avoid unauthorized wiring or extension cords in rooms, and keep flammable items such as bedding and clothing away from electrical equipment.

2

 Travel Safety

Plan your trip in advance, travel with companions when possible, and avoid going out alone at night.

Follow traffic rules, use official transportation services, and keep personal belongings safe.

3

 Food Hygiene

Maintain a balanced diet, choose fresh and hygienic food, and avoid overeating.

When dining out, pay attention to restaurant hygiene to prevent food poisoning.

4

 Mental Health

Maintain a regular schedule, exercise appropriately, and communicate often with family and friends.

If you feel stressed or emotionally troubled, seek support from loved ones or professional institutions promptly.

For mental health support, please contact the following resources:

(1) National Psychological Assistance Hotline: 12356

(2) Shanghai 24-hour Psychological Service Hotline: 021-962525

5

 Cybersecurity

Protect your personal privacy—do not casually disclose your ID number, bank card details, or other sensitive information.

Be cautious with unfamiliar links and attachments, and avoid clicking on suspicious online content.

6

 Anti-Fraud Tips

Be vigilant against telecommunication fraud—do not easily trust unfamiliar calls, text messages, or online information.

Always verify the identity of the other party in financial transactions, and contact the police if necessary.

Wishing you warmth, growth, and safety this winter break! Happy Chinese New Year in advance, and may your family be filled with happiness!
