On June 20th, the 2024 Asia Europe Business School (AEBS) Class of 2024 Commencement and Degree Conferral Ceremony were successfully held in the Zizhu International Education Park. Graduates and their families, faculty and staff of the school, as well as friends from all walks of society who support the development of the school, gathered together to participate in this important moment, share the growth footsteps of AEBS students, and witness the outstanding educational achievements.
He Jiaxun, Professor and doctoral supervisor of East China Normal University, and Chinese Dean of Asia Europe Business School, delivered a speech. Firstly, he congratulates the 2024 graduates on their successful graduation and thanks them for their outstanding contributions to the development of the college. He pointed out that this year is the first year of General Artificial Intelligence and a milestone in the life path of graduates. Subsequently, he made three messages to the graduates. Firstly, not only should one become smart, but also prioritize honesty. The new era of artificial intelligence is a new world of human-machine collaboration, and to lead intelligent robots towards a new civilization, a strong human foundation is needed. Secondly, we need to consider how to shift our focus from vision to purpose. Vision is a long-term goal that can be achieved in the next 10 to 30 years, and the purpose is the eternal pursuit of the enterprise. In the new era of facing major challenges, we need to pay more attention to the purpose of establishing enterprises. Thirdly, we need to consider how to shift from long-term ism to futurism. Futurism is in line with the new progress of business development from focusing on vision to focusing on purpose. He hopes that students can continue to cultivate innovative leadership, bravely and confidently move forward, and embrace a bright future through the three new understandings or transformations mentioned above.
Nikola ZIVLAK, Associate Professor at EMLyon Business School in France and Academic Director of the Undergraduate and Master's Program at Eurasian Business School, delivered a speech. He pointed out that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, and the Asia Europe Business School is gradually growing in the fusion of genes between China and France. Graduates from Asia and Europe not only understand China, but also the international market, including France. This advantage can help them become global ambassadors for information transmission. He hopes that graduates, no matter which country they will go to for development in the future, will not forget to keep in touch and build this platform as alumni of the Asia Europe Business School, facing new challenges together and seeking new development opportunities.

Therefore, she encourages AEBSers to learn how to better utilize technologies and tools such as AI, continue to pursue their ideals and passions, and firmly embrace future challenges.
