On November 23rd, AEBS gathered students for the Essay Competition Award Ceremony — a day filled with heartfelt moments and shared celebrations. The event reminded us that our AEBS journey is shaped not only by what we learn in class, but also by the connections we build and the small, meaningful experiences that stay with us long after.
In this spirit, this year’s AEBS Essay Competition invited students to reflect on the theme “AEBS Learning Experience: Lessons from People, Moments, and Stories.” The contest encouraged sincere storytelling — from memorable classroom moments and inspiring mentors to life-changing conversations and personal experiences that influenced each student’s growth. Participants were free to write about a friend, a challenge, or any moment that left a lasting impression on their time at AEBS.
We were pleased to receive 25 heartfelt essays submitted through AEBS’s official email. Every piece showcased sincerity, personal insight, and the diverse voices within our AEBS community. Following the judges’ evaluation, seven students were recognized as this year’s award recipients.
Once all essays had been carefully reviewed, the winners were announced in three rounds: starting with the third-prize recipients, followed by the second-prize winners, and finally the first-prize honoree. Each name on the list reflects a story that resonated deeply with the judges.
