October 24, 2025，to help students better understand different cultures and enhance cross-cultural communication, Asia-Europe Business School (AEBS) hosted the Cross-Cultural Communication Event. The activity was filled with warmth and laughter as students shared stories, played games, and discovered the beauty of cultural exchange.
The first segment of the event is story sharing: Wonderful Experiences in China. At the beginning of the event, Jennie and Dany shared their interesting experiences of living in China. From language barriers to cultural habits, their sincere and humorous stories revealed how mutual understanding grows from cultural differences.
The second segment is a group activity: Capturing Cultural Moments. Students were divided into groups of five to six to complete a “Cultural Impression” photo challenge. Each group captured two creative and meaningful photos showcasing their understanding of cultural diversity. After voting, two of the most creative teams won special prizes!
Tea Break: The Language of Connection. During the tea break, students had the chance to relax and interact more freely. Over snacks and drinks, they exchanged stories and laughter, filling the room with warmth and friendship.
The highlight of the day was the Cross-Cultural Quiz Game. From warm-up questions to challenging cultural puzzles, the competition kept everyone engaged and excited. In the end, Pingheng won first place with his quick thinking and broad knowledge, taking home a special prize.
As cheers filled the room, the event concluded with a lucky draw. Ten lucky students won adorable clip souvenirs, ending the cultural celebration on a joyful and heartwarming note.
The 2025 Graduate Cross-Cultural Exchange concluded amidst laughter and joy, yet it was far more than just an event—it was a meeting of minds and a broadening of horizons. As students from different countries and cultural backgrounds broke down barriers and shared their stories and perspectives with genuine openness, we witnessed firsthand how bridges of understanding and friendship are built, piece by piece. Following the event, students were eager to share their reflections and takeaways.

When planning this event, my goal was not only to ‘know’ different cultures, but to ‘experience’ them. Seeing everyone interact and laugh together made me feel the true spirit of AEBS — openness, diversity, and authentic communication.
Organizing this event was also a great learning journey for me. It improved my problem-solving skills and gave me the chance to communicate across different departments, bridging classroom learning with real-world practice.

“When Yidan asked me to join her to organize and host the event I was immediately motivated to support her. Having organized several student let activities in AEBS over the past years, I knew that it will be a fun experience to bring joy to AEBS students.
