The 2017 opening ceremony of Asia Europe Business School (AEBS) was held at the Zizhu International Park on Sept 16. AEBS bachelor and master students of class 2017 attended the ceremony. It’s the first time that AEBS welcomes new students in Zizhu International Park.
Tong Shijun, chairman of the University Council of ECNU, expressed his warm welcome to all the new students. He encouraged students to study hard, think independently, achieve full development, and contribute their own strength to promote the progress of the time with a good knowledge reserve.
Bernard Belletante, dean of emlyon business school, said in his speech that, he hoped the new students would understand the importance of difference and to flourish as “citizens of the world”.
Yuan Zhigang, director of Academic Committee of Faculty of Economics& Management, expressed his best wishes to the new students; he hoped that the students could enjoy their studies in AEBS and find the key to open the door to future excellence.
Afterwards, Liu Chenjun, newly joined enterprise mentor of AEBS, President China at Wyndham Hotel Group, gave a keynote speech on the subject of How can new generations build their competitiveness.
Faculty representative Yang Feifei made a brief speech. Next student representative of Class 2016 Wang Yurong shared her experience in AEBS and encouraged the new students to be brave and dare try. Matteo Perrin and Shi Wenda, students representatives of class 2017, successively addressed and expressed the yearning for their future lives at AEBS.
