After the meeting with ENS, the ECNU delegation went to emlyon business shcool to attend the fifth session of the Joint Aministartion Committee of the Asia Europe Business School（AEBS), which was jointly created by emlyon and ECNU in Shanghai. Chen exchanged views with emlyon hosts at the session, including Mr. Bruno Bonnell, board chairman; Dean Bernard Belletante; and Vice Dean Tugrul Atamer, on how to build a distinctive and competitive AEBS.
Prof. He Jiaxun, Chinese Dean of AEBS, and Prof. William Hua Wang, French Dean, gave the conventioneers a brief introduction on the latest development of the school. Topics discussed at the meeting included the school's development plan for 2017 and 2018, the building of a R&D center, employment of teaching faculty, and project establishment.
The delegation take part in a Chinese New Year party held by ECNU alumni who work and live in France.
On the following day, Chen held talks with Tugrul Atamer, elaborating on difficulties faced by AEBS and possible wider cooperation in the future between ECNU and emlyon. Before wrapping up the visit, the Shanghai delegation took part in a Chinese New Year party held by ECNU alumni who work and live in France, during which Chen sent best wishes to more than 20 alumni from ENS, Université de Paris I （Panthéon-Sorbonne）and Université Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV).
